Christopher explains the image ''I took the photo of the common darter dragonfly as it settled near my neighbour's  garden pond in Hounslow. I used a Canon EOS 1D Mk 4 on a tripod with a 180mm macro lens at 800 ISO, 1/1600 sec, f9.''
