About Me
Hello, my name is Sandy Cowley and I'm a photographer based in Norfolk, with a particular passion for wildlife and nature photography.
I have always loved taking photographs, initially using a simple point-and-shoot camera. It was during the Covid pandemic, when I was unable to work, that I decided to take my photography further and learn how to use my camera properly.
I enrolled on A Year With My Camera, an online photography course run by Emma Davies, and it completely changed the way I approached photography. I discovered that there was far more to creating a great photograph than simply putting the camera on automatic and hoping for the best!
Since retiring in 2021 and moving to Norfolk, my passion for photography has continued to grow. I feel very fortunate to live close to the coast and to be surrounded by such a wonderful variety of wildlife and natural landscapes.
