Dennis tells us ''The shot was taken in Devon in August during a very heavy rain shower on what was actually a very nice summers day which gives the nice light of the shot, I was actually looking down from a hill looking into the trees and saw the bird land, as I focused the rain shower started and I thought I might be lucky enough to capture the rain drops.''

''The shot was taken on a Canon 60d with a sigma 150 600 ml lens I only had a very brief couple of seconds before the bird took flight due to the very heavy rain. I used a fast shutter speed of 1000 to capture the rain drops.''
