Congratulations to David Watkins with this image entitled 'Kingfisher Early Morning Fishing Success'.
David tells us ''The shot was taken on an
estuary of the River Severn, just off the M5. It was an early start and this was
one of the first visits which was incredibly lucky. It was a beautiful morning
with lovely sunshine. I spent around ten hours that day watching these lovely
birds. It was a fascinating day as the activity throughout the day, was very up
and down. I saw a pair of Kingfishers who were obviously feeding their young as
they were active all the time I was there.''
