"Thank you, that's a lovely surprise.

The image was taken in North Tyneside, it is a Puffball mushroom discovered in the Rising sun country park, near my home. Taken with a Sony A7ii with a Sony 90mm macro lens. Settings F16, shutter 200 ISO 64. Camera set on a mini tripod with shutter release button, flash and reflector set up for lighting. I prodded the mushroom from behind with a wire to get it to puff the spores as I clicked the shutter button. As I was shooting at an aperture of F16 to get the whole mushroom in focus but still wanted bokeh, I blue tacked sparkling fibres around the edge of my lens which give a little extra bokeh when light hits them regardless of aperture."
