Exhibitions Yes, we hold an external exhibition annually.
Outings and Social events This year we will have three outings, including one to an exhibition. We are also open to creating more outing throughout the year if members want.
Club history Originally called The Hanwell Camera Club, Northfields Camera Club was founded in 1958 by Reverend PG Kirby. He was a professional photographer before he entered the Baptist ministry.
The club moved to its present location in 1960 and was renamed Northfields Camera Club in 1962. In the same year local Photo Shop owner Vic Tennant became chairman.
We still have one founder member of the Hanwell Camera Club with us who has some wonderful slides and prints ranging throughout the life of the Northfields Camera Club.
Over the 50 years that the club has been running it has attracted a cross section of the local community, and some from farther away. The membership levels have had a rollercoaster of a ride too, with as little as six members turning up for meetings during the 1990s. We are glad now that the club is on the upward ride of the rollercoaster again
