We also hold several inter-club competitions with other local camera clubs and enter national and international competitions.

Exhibitions: We have an annual, month long exhibition held in the upper gallery of Kidderminster Library.

Outings and Social events We have one long week-end away, this year we went to Old Hunstanton, Norfolk.

We also arrange monthly outings to more local places, Birmingham and Ironbridge being the most recent places visited.

History: The inaugural meeting of the then Kidderminster and district Photographic Society was held on 26th October 1906 and the original minute book survives today.

Meetings have always been held on Mondays. At the first general meeting there was a debate about whether to allow ladies to become members.

The first public exhibition was held in March 1909 and by the late 1930s had over 100 members, becoming one of the largest clubs in the Midlands.
