Club history Formed 1983
For the first few years meetings were held in local pubs and membership varied between 30 and 60.
Since 2007 meetings held in The Tower Hall, Rushmere St. Andrew, Ipswich - a spacious and comfortable modern community hall.
Currently, membership is about 30.
Our programme leans heavily towards competitions both within the club and against other clubs in the area. We make no apologies for this because we feel that photographers invest a lot of money in equipment and should be encouraged to put this to good use - competitions provide this encouragement. During the year we also have lectures and discussion evenings to learn how to achieve better pictures and some social events most of which combine picture taking at a specific location with a meal together afterwards.
